Everything is designed with your nervous system in mind.
From the moment you walk through the door, there’s nothing you need to do but be here.
No mirrors. Low lighting. Curated music. Thoughtful scent. A slower pace. Facilitators who notice you. Practices that give you permission to feel what you need, move how you need and take up space exactly as you are.
You don’t need to perform here.
You just need to show up.
Humans need Humans.
Being held isn’t only about the practice. It’s about the people you practice beside.
The conversations before class. The familiar faces. The hugs. The laughs that linger after everyone should probably have left.
We keep coming back to the same thing: humans need humans.
The Byron Studio is a place to move together, feel together and find your people along the way.
How it feels.
“It’s a soul-nourishing nervous-system exhale. Like a hug or being in the womb—a space that holds every part of you: rest, power, play, aliveness, release and expression.”
— Ava Cudmore“A space like no other. No mirrors, nothing to show—just come as you are. Support and space are held for you to release what you’ve been carrying. The after-effect is amazing.”
— Talisha Kidd“The Sol space is divine. As soon as you enter, there is a sense of calmness and peace. The teachers are top level.”

I’ve never done yoga or somatic movement. Can I come?
Absolutely. You don’t need any previous experience to practice with us. Our practices are designed to meet you where you are — come exactly as you are.
1
Which practice should I start with?
2
There’s no wrong place to start. Every Sol Method practice is designed to support your nervous system in a different way, so choose the one that sounds most like what your body needs right now.
If you’re still not sure, Somatic Reset is a great first class. It sits at the heart of the Sol Method and gives you a taste of breath, somatic movement and the way we use intentional pauses to help you reconnect with your body.
I usually practice yoga — which classes should I try?
3
If you already practice yoga, Somatic Flow, Somatic Power Flow and Somatic Rest will feel the most familiar. They’re our take on vinyasa, power flow and yin/restorative practices — with the Sol Method somatic perspective and nervous system principles woven through.
If you want to explore more somatic movement, try Somatic Release, Somatic Reset or Somatic Expression. These practices move further away from traditional yoga and deeper into intuitive movement, somatic exercises, release and expression.
What should I bring?
4
Wear something comfortable you can move and rest in, and bring water. We have mats and all the props you’ll need at the studio.
