Breathe Better: 10 Day Somatic Course in Functional Breath

Most people have never been taught how to breathe well. Not functionally. Not in a way that actually supports the nervous system.

Overbreathing, mouth breathing, chest-dominant breathing, no connection to the diaphragm — these aren't minor habits. They are quietly maintaining stress, disrupting sleep, and keeping the nervous system in a state of low-grade alert. Every day.

Breathe Better addresses this at the root.

Over ten days, you'll move through a complete arc — from understanding your current breath pattern, to releasing the physical restrictions that prevent full breath, to retraining the fundamentals, to building a daily practice that sets your nervous system baseline before the day begins.

This is not another breathwork technique. It is a retraining of your baseline natural breath.

Ten days. 20 minutes a day.
No prior experience needed.

I spent two decades teaching yoga before I realised something was missing. Not from the practice. From my relationship with my own body. Becoming a mother cracked it open. Suddenly the work wasn't just personal — it was generational. What I carried, my son would learn to carry too. That realisation changed everything about how I teach. I bring close to thirty years of yoga across multiple lineages, rooted now in a nervous system-informed approach built on Polyvagal Theory. My work is trauma-sensitive, somatically grounded, and deeply attuned. In my classes, people expect to move. They don't expect to exhale quite that deeply. What people say about me... Steady. Intuitive. The kind of presence that makes a room feel safe before she's said a word.

I know what it feels like to do everything right and still feel completely disconnected from yourself. My own healing journey through C-PTSD is the reason Sol Method exists. I learned, through my own body, that nervous system work isn't a wellness trend. It's the missing piece underneath everything else. I bring together yoga, Pilates, functional movement, menstrual cycle education, and neuroscience-based nervous system regulation — not as separate tools but as one cohesive understanding of how a human body actually works. I teach from the inside out. With empathy, with science, and with a deep respect for your body's intelligence — including the parts that have been overriding it for years. People come in at capacity and full of noise. They leave wondering why they waited so long. What people say about me...Warm. Sharp. The kind of teacher who sees you.

For a long time, I thought wellbeing meant learning how to push through discomfort. It turns out it meant learning how to listen to it. I began practicing yoga as a teenager and later trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa in London, searching for something deeper than movement alone. While the training sparked something in me, it also left me with more questions than answers and a growing sense that there was more to the body than what I was being taught. Years later, my own nervous system brought everything to a halt. After experiencing seizures, chronic pain, exhaustion, and a body that had reached its limit, I spent months searching for answers. What I discovered changed the way I relate to movement, wellbeing, and myself. The body holds stories long after the mind has learned to live around them. That experience transformed not only my practice, but the pace of my life. Today, I bring together nervous system education, somatic awareness, yoga, movement, and years of study in embodied and tantric philosophy. Not as separate modalities, but as a way of helping people reconnect with the intelligence already living within them. I believe we're often trying to move too fast, fix too much, and know too many things. The deepest shifts I've witnessed come through simplicity, consistency, and learning to listen to the quieter layers of the body. I teach gently, with structure and heart. Creating spaces where people feel safe enough to soften, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to meet themselves honestly. People often arrive feeling disconnected and leave feeling present. What people say about me... Thoughtful. Grounded. The kind of teacher who lives what she teaches.

My introduction to somatic work comes from my background in theatre as a kid. Before every show, we used breathwork and movement to settle nerves and arrive in our bodies. I didn't have a name for it then. I just knew it worked. That thread never left. Yoga followed, then teacher training, retreats specialising in somatic movement and meditation. I'm still an active actor and a painter. Dropping out of my head and into my body isn't something I practise — it's how I live. This work made me less reactive and more present. Not by managing myself better. By actually starting to listen. I'm a big believer in creative movement as a way to shift what's stuck and keep the nervous system alive. That curiosity is enough. People come in overthinking. They leave remembering they already had the answers. What people say about me....Playful. Grounded. The kind of teacher who makes you forget you were ever in your head.
