Movement made for your nervous system

Modern life asks a lot of you. The thinking. The rushing. The pressure to keep up. Holding everything for everyone else.

Sol Method brings together yoga, somatic movement and neuroscience to help you move, breathe, release, rest and reconnect—so you can quiet your busy mind, feel more at home in your body and more able to meet your life.

Seven Practices.
Each teaches your body something different.

01

Somatic Breath

Your breath changes with everything you feel—stress, fear, focus, energy and calm. This class teaches you how to understand and use your breath—so you can settle your mind, have a baseline of calm, support your energy and create space before you react.

02

Somatic Release

Stress does not only live in your thoughts. It can show up as a tight jaw, heavy shoulders, a restless body or the feeling that you cannot switch off. This class teaches you how to release built-up physical and emotional tension—so you can feel lighter, freer and more at ease in your body.

03

Somatic Reset

Stress is part of life, but you don’t have to stay stuck in it. This class teaches you how to notice when stress is taking over and use breath and movement to change gears—so you can recover, think more clearly and return to yourself.

04

Somatic Rest

If you are used to always doing, truly stopping can feel uncomfortable. This class teaches your body that it is safe to slow down and receive rest—so you can soften, recover and rebuild your energy without feeling like you have to earn it.

05

Somatic Power

Life will not always slow down for you. This class teaches you how to stay connected to yourself when things feel challenging—so you can build strength, stay steady under pressure and respond without rushing, bracing or giving up.

06

Somatic Flow

It is easy to move through life without noticing how you feel. This class teaches you to slow down, listen to your body and adjust as you move—so you can build trust in yourself and make choices that support you, both on and off the mat.

07

Somatic Expression

Not everything you feel can be explained in words. This class teaches you to express what is moving through you using breath and intuitive movement—so you can let go of control and make more room for freedom, pleasure, play and joy.

Move differently.
Feel differently.

Yoga is our foundation.
Somatics changes the way we move.
Neuroscience helps us design movement that works with your nervous system, not against it.

Everything your nervous system needs, in one method.

YOGA
Gives us breath, movement, strength and mobility — alongside thousands of years of wisdom about the relationship between body and mind.

SOMATIC MOVEMENT
Brings the attention inward. We balance form with feeling, helping you notice what’s happening in your body and respond to what it needs.

NEUROSCIENCE
Shows us how the nervous system learns and changes through experience, repetition and the relationship between challenge and safety.

Together, they create Sol Method — movement designed around how your nervous system actually learns.

Don’t just take our word for it.

“Sol Method changed my life, my perspective on life, and my relationship with my body and nervous system. It taught me that emotions are energy in motion and that it’s about how you choose to show up for yourself every day. The connection within the studio community is like nothing else.”

— Cece

“I come to let go of what is no longer serving me. I leave feeling well rested, calm and settled in my body—despite what may be happening in the outside world.”

— Sarah

“Sol Method is different from any other yoga class I’ve experienced. Many teachers talk about nervous-system regulation, but at Sol you can actually feel it happening in real time.”

— Emily De Lay

Your place to
be held.

For one hour, you don’t have to hold everything.

We’ve thought about the movement, the pace, the music, the lighting and the little details, so you can walk through the door and let yourself be held — by the practice, the space and the people around you.

A place to move, connect and belong. An hour for you, so you can go back out into the other 23 with more capacity for everything — and everyone — you hold.
