Classes Based on How You Feel

How to choose the right practice for your nervous system
In much of the wellness industry, methods are built around “shoulds.”
How you should move.
How you should look.
How hard you should push.
How disciplined or high-performing you should be.
At Sol Method, we built our work on a different — and more radical — foundation: how you feel.
Why? Because life isn’t lived from the outside in.
It’s experienced, interpreted, and responded to through your feeling state.
Your nervous system shapes how you relate to your body, your work, your relationships, and the world around you.
When your system is regulated, you experience more presence, clarity, connection, and choice.
When it’s overwhelmed, shut down, or depleted, everything feels harder — even if you’re doing all the “right” things.
This is why learning to be in relationship with how you feel has a profound impact not just on your health or how you look, but on how you live, love, and move through life.
At the Byron studio, our practices aren’t designed to perform, fix, or force change. They’re designed to meet your nervous system where it is, so change can happen naturally.
So instead of asking, “Which class should I do?”
We invite a different question:
How do I feel right now?
What follows is a simple guide to help you let your body choose.
If you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or overstimulated
Your system is asking for settling and safety.
Somatic Reset – gently brings the system out of urgency and back to baseline
Somatic Breath – slows and softens internal rhythms
Breath & Sound Immersion – guides the body into calm, spaciousness, and integration
If you feel burnt out, depleted, or emotionally exhausted
Your system is asking for rest and permission to stop holding.
Somatic Rest – deeply down-regulating and restorative
Somatic Breath or Breath & Sound – nourishing for exhaustion and emotional fatigue
Somatic Reset – a gentler bridge when full rest feels like too much
Burnout doesn’t heal through effort. It heals through rest that feels safe.
If you feel unsteady, scattered, or disconnected
Your system is asking for grounding and containment.
Somatic Strength – builds internal support and steadiness
Somatic Reset – helps you land back in your body
Somatic Breath – reconnects you to rhythm and presence
If you feel overloaded or carrying too much
Your system is asking for space and relief.
Somatic Reset – reduces internal noise and recalibrates
Somatic Flow – supports release through intuitive movement
Somatic Breath – allows letting go without analysing or fixing
Relief often comes when you stop trying to process everything and let the body soften first.
If you feel flat, stuck, or in need of energy
Your system is asking for activation without pressure.
Somatic Rebound – playful, rhythmic, and energising
Somatic Flow – mobilises energy in a fluid way
Somatic Strength – for energy that feels steady and embodied
Energy returns when the body feels safe enough to move again.
If you feel tight, stressed, or holding things in
Your system is asking for completion and release.
Somatic Flow – moves held tension and emotion
Somatic Breath – discharges stress through the nervous system
Somatic Rebound – releases through rhythm and movement
Release doesn’t need to be dramatic. It just needs to be allowed.
If you feel numb, shut down, or on autopilot
Your system is asking for gentle reawakening.
Somatic Flow – brings sensation back online safely
Somatic Rebound – light rhythm helps lift the system out of freeze
Somatic Breath or Breath & Sound – reconnects you to subtle internal sensation
Rest may come later — this is about meeting the body where it is first.
If you feel grief, sadness, or emotional heaviness
Your system is asking for holding and tenderness.
Somatic Rest – offers stillness and support
Breath & Sound – allows emotion to move and integrate without words
Somatic Reset – provides gentle regulation when emotions feel close to the surface
Grief doesn’t need solutions. It needs space.
If you feel ready to build inner power and resilience
Your system is asking for strength with safety.
Somatic Strength – cultivates capacity, confidence, and trust
Somatic Flow – reconnects you to agency and choice
Somatic Rebound – when confidence wants expression and play
True strength feels grounded, not forced.
A final note
There is no “right” class.
Your needs can change day to day — that’s not inconsistency, it’s nervous system intelligence.
The more you let your body lead, the less you have to override yourself.
And the more your practices begin to support not just your body — but your life.
Meet yourself honestly.
We’ll meet you there.
